What a massive start to the year, and to Cultivate London.

We began operating on our Brentford Lock site earlier this year in March.  Since then, we’ve recruited young people to train and work with us, held four volunteer days and worked with local residents, built and planted out four polytunnels, started selling our herbs and built a show garden for Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival.

So in order to thank everyone for all of your support and energy, and of course to celebrate the arrival of Cultivate London, we held a launch party on 13th July. Thanks to all who came, it was a very splendid evening.  Much thanks also to ISIS Waterside Regeneration, The Kernel Brewery, Simon and his bicycle amplifier and Felicity Whitehead from Taste of Bitter Love for the amazing food.
